Worked in a simple crochet pattern from side to side, the textured stripes and eyelets create slimming vertical lines. An optional chain belt cinches the cardigan at the waist. In sizes S, M, L, and XL (finished bust 34.75, 39.5, 44.5, 49.25"; finished length 20.75, 22, 23.25, 24.75"), it uses 1505, 1720, 1935, 2365 yards of fingering weight yarn (28 st/4") - works out to 14, 16, 18, 22 balls of elann.com Peruvian Baby Cashmere. The designer notes that the incorrect gauge is published in the magazine and a gauge of 25 sts and 20 rows = 4" is required to achieve the desired size.
