This easy to knit shawl begins at the center back neck with just a few stitches and grows in chevrons of garter and stockinette stitch, using simple knit and purl stitches. With a finished size of approximately 72" x 30", it uses 375 yards of Aran Weight (17-18 st/4"), or 350 yards of Chunky Weight (15-16 st/4") yarn, knitted loosely on larger needles at a gauge of 10-12 st/4".
