July/August 2006 Design Contest Winners

Congratulations to the winners of elann's July/August 2006 design contest! The challenge was to design a chemo cap in elann.com Esprit or Esprit Print that was both comfortable and fashionable. The cap was to be suitable for round-the-clock wear, indoors or out, fit snugly, cover the back of the neck as well as the head, and last but not least, be stylish!

Entries were judged on the beauty and originality of their designs, how well they met the criteria of the competition, and the quality, clarity, and precision of their pattern writing. We promised that we would choose up to 6 winners, but the entries were so impressive, that we just had to choose lucky seven! Below are our seven winning entries, in alphabetical order of their designers' surnames. Their patterns will be available in the elann.com Free Patterns section at 9:00 am Pacific Time on the dates shown below each entry.
