  • There are over 40 designs to knit for women in the new Winter 2005/06 Vogue Knitting Magazine. While some of the designs feature stockinette stitch to create classic styles, many more feature interesting stitches and multiple colors, plus the "Stitch Workshop" in this issue illustrates beautiful bobbles and other structural details. There are pullovers and cardigans, jackets and a floor length coat, shrugs, skirts, shawls, tops, scarves, mitts, and capes. There are also 2 dresses to create and 2 modernized classic twin sets. With something for everyone, from teen to senior, and something for every mood, this edition will inspire you to try something new. Meg Swansen introduces a two-color Armenian knitting technique with a pattern for a hat. Nicky Epstein's workshop on "Kings Ball" edging technique will have you wanting to attach this interesting edge to a shawl or poncho. There is also a very interesting and informative article about copyright laws and how they relate to knitting - a must for anyone who knits for profit.
