Alpine Boots to knit and felt for children in sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL (finished foot length 5, 6, 7, 8, 9") are available in two leg heights. Knitted with double strands of yarn and designed to be felted to a very thick, firm fabric, these boot slippers will keep feet warm and cozy. They feature double soles for extra comfort and longer wear. They are trimmed with synthetic furry yarn.
The High Top Boot slippers use approximately 300, 320, 410, 470, 550 yards of worsted weight (19-20 st/4") 100% wool yarn, like elann.com Highland Wool, plus 55, 60, 65, 75, 85 yards of synthetic furry yarn for trim, such as our elann.com Undyed Zsa Zsa, and the low top slippers use approximately 290, 300, 380, 430, 500 yards of worsted weight yarn, like elann.com Highland Wool, and 50, 55, 60, 70, 80 yards of synthetic furry yarn, such as our elann.com Undyed Zsa Zsa, for the trim.
