  • This simple wrap, designed by Lisa Daehlin, is worked entirely in garter stitch, using short rows to create a wide flounce along one edge. Best suited for intermediate knitters, it is knit in one size (finished length of unruffled edge 42"; finished width 14"), and uses 4 balls Fiesta Yarns Starburst La Boheme (50% viscose rayon/ 32% kid mohair/ 14% wool/ 4% nylon - aran weight - 18 sts/ 4" - 165 yards per 113g balls), or 660 yards of substitute yarn of similar gauge and weight.
  • Multidirectional cabled shrug, designed by Norah Gaughan, is modularly knit, one five-cable pentagon at a time, and its sleeves are 2 x 2 rib extensions of a pentagon. In sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL (finished bust 33, 36, 39, 42, 45"; finished length 11, 12, 13, 14, 15"), it uses 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 balls of Berroco Pure Merino (aran weight - 18 st/4" - 92 yards per 50g ball), or 1012, 1104, 1196, 1288, 1380 yards of substitute aran weight yarn.
