A classic cable and rib sweater, designed exclusively for Elann by Karen Connor. Suitable for intermediate knitters, this pattern offers instructions for two length options - a pullover with finished length 24", and a tunic with side vents (pictured) with finished length 30".In sizes S, M, L, XL, and XXL (finished bust sizes 40, 42.5, 50, 52.5, 57" - the fit is relaxed - choose a finished bust measurement about 4 to 6" larger than your own bust size). Pattern is designed for both mercerized or unmercerized cottons, so that if you decide to knit with unmercerized cottons like Den-M-Nit Pure Indigo Cotton, Pakucho Organic Cotton, or Naturelle 8/8, and machine dry your garment, instructions are given to allow for about 10-15% shrinkage in length. Pullover uses 1260, 1340, 1495, 1610, 1680 yards of worsted weight cotton 19-20 st/4" (1480, 1575, 1760, 1895, 1975 yards, if unmercerized cotton for machine drying), and tunic uses 1420, 1520, 1700, 1830, 1900 yards of worsted weight cotton - 19-20 st/4" (1670, 1780, 1995, 2155, 2230 yards, if unmercerized cotton for machine drying).
