Featured Design: Airy and easy stockinette wrap, perfect for any season, approximately 15" wide x 58" long, was made from only 100g (3.5 oz) of Tuft Love, in just 2 hours, using the Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine. With keyplate 4, the wrap is 50 stitches wide and 200 rows long. To knit by hand, cast on 50 sts very loosely with 7mm (US 10 1/2) needles, knit in stockinette (k on RS, p on WS) for about 58", or desired length, then cast off loosely.
Hank of summer turquoise Tuft Love shown in larger image was dyed by Dawn Miller, using acid dyes. 100% nylon is easy to dye to beautiful intensity using acid dyes. To dye 100% polyester yarn to your own specifications, elann.com highly recommends PROsperse Disperse Dye from Pro Chemical Dye. The Pro Chemical website offers excellent instructions, and their disperse dye starter kit, which includes everything you need for professional results, is just US$12.95.
