I apologize for doing this in this forum. I honestly don't know where to begin.
I received a call this afternoon, from Mark. As some of you may know it is Betsy's DH.
He regretfully informed me that Betsy has suffered a massive stroke and is now in the hospital in SA.
He asked me to pass this information along, so you all would know "she's not ignoring you, she's just not home right now."
I will keep you posted if he calls me with any more news.
He said her brothers were coming in tonight or tomorrow and her daughter was flying in as well and thankfully they will all be there to support each other.
Please send all the prayers and well wishes her way.
Again I'm sorry I had to do this via message forum. I don't have any #'s or emails, and my thoughts are all scattered at the moment.

Oh, Enid. Thank you so much for posting this. I think of Bets all the time. Please tell Mark that our thoughts and prayers are with him and Bets. I hope he'll have good news for us soon.

Thank you for putting this information on the Elann board, Enid. This is terrible news, but with all of us behind her, I'm sure Bets and her family will see happier days.

Enid, Thank you for sharing this very sad news. Please let Mark and Betsy know that I send them positive and loving thoughts and prayers for her full recovery. Strokes are so insidiously awful and are so different from person to person. Betsy is such a loving person with her enormous sense of humor. A big hug and lots of love to her.

What terrible news, I just can't believe it! Thanks for posting this Enid. She is so strong that I pray that will push her through to a full recovery - with so many thoughts and prayers behind her helping those doctors too!

Wow! Reeling with this news. Hard for me to imagine Bets sick and in the hospital. Thank you for sharing this Enid and more positive vibes coming from Philadelphia.

That is devastating news! I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this. Prayers and wishes for a very quick and full recovery - and for strength for all the family.

Oh no! This is terrible news! Betsy is so caring and thoughtful and she and Mark are in my prayers. We talked last week for a long time and she was her usual funny, wonderful self. My thoughts are with her and Mark.
