EXPERIENCE:
Intermediate.

SlZES:
Small (Medium, Large)

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
Bust 34 (36½, 39)"/ 86.5 (92.5, 99) cm
Length 26 (28, 30)"/ 66 (71, 76) cm

MATERIALS:
- 6 (7, 8) balls of S. Charles Collezione Muse
- 5.00mm (US 8) knitting needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
- 5.00mm (US 8) circular needle, 29"/ 74cm long
- Yarn needle

GAUGE:
14 sts and 32 rows = 4"/10cm with 2 strands of yarn in garter stitch.
TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

UPPER BACK BODICE:
Using 2 strands of yarn held tog and straight needles, cast on 60 (64, 68) sts. Knit every row (garter st) for 2 (3, 4)".

Shape Armhole: Bind off 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows - 52 (56, 60) sts. Dec 1 st each side every other row 3 times. 46 (50, 54) sts. Continue even until piece measures 11 (13, 15)" from beg.

Shape Shoulder: Bind off 4 sts beg of next 4 rows, then 4 (5, 6) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Bind off remaining 22 (24, 26) sts for Back neck.

UPPER FRONT BODICE (make 2 reversing shaping):
Using 2 strands of yarn held tog and straight needles, cast on 30 (32, 34) sts. Work as for Back including armhole shaping; AT THE SAME TIME, after 6 rows, beg neck shaping dec 1 st at neck edge every 6th row 9 (10, 11) times, then every 8th row 2 times. 12 (13, 14) sts.
Continue even until piece measures 11 (13, 15)" from beg.

Shape Shoulder: Bind off at shoulder edge every other row 4 sts twice, then 4 (5, 6) sts once.

SLEEVES:
Using 2 strands of yarn held tog and straight needles, cast on 54 (58, 62) sts. Knit every row (garter st) for 8 (12, 16) rows.

Shape Cap: Bind off 4 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each side every row 3 (5, 7) times, every other row 7 times, every 4th row 4 times - 18 sts. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 4 rows. Bind off remaining 10 sts.

FINISHING:
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams. Set in Sleeves; sew side and sleeve seams.

LOWER BODICE (worked in-the-rnd with circular needle):
Note: Working with a single strand of yarn and the same size needle will produce sheer effect.

With RS facing, using a single strand of yarn and circular needle, pick up 116 (124, 132) sts around lower edge of bodice. Join and work around in k2, p2 rib for 3".
Inc Rnd: *K2, inc 1 st in next st, p1; rep from * around. 145 (155, 165) sts.
Continue in k2, p3 rib for 3".
Inc Rnd: *K2, inc 1 st in each of next 2 sts, p1; rep from * around. 203 (217, 231) sts.
Continue in k2, p5 rib for 3".
Inc Rnd: *K2, inc 1 st in each of next 3 sts, p2; rep from * around. 290 (310, 330) sts.
Continue in k2, p8 rib for 5".
Using 2 strands of yarn, knit 8 rows. Bind off.

Using yarn needle, weave in all ends.
