Using your main yarn color as given in the instructions (MC), purl 1 row, then work 2 or 4 rows St.St, depending on how firm an edge is desired. On the next row, with MC, knit 1 st, then folding up the already worked rows of St.St to the back, purl into the first st of the first row of your MC yarn. Continue working K1, P1 ribbing pattern, knitting 1 st from your needle and purling into the next st above your CC row until you have the required number of stitches. Pick up 1 extra st at the end of the row if the required number of stitches is an uneven number: Remove the CC row, and continue in ribbing pattern.
