Featured Design: Ropes and Picots, designed by Laura Grutzeck and knit in elann.com Sula by Libby Grant, is from Interweave Knits - Winter 2008. Carefully placed couture details, including narrow twist stitch panels and picot edges, accent a simple shape. In sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL (finished bust 35, 37, 41, 45, 49, 53"; finished length 20.75, 21.5, 22.25, 23, 24.4, 24.5"), it uses 984, 1107, 1353, 1476, 1722, 1968 yards of DK weight yarn (21-23 st/4") for the body of the sweater and 240, 240, 240, 240, 360, 360 yards of fingering weight yarn (27-29 st/4") for the hem facing. Our sample was knit entirely in elann.com Sula and we calculated a substitution of 1224, 1347, 1593, 1716, 2082, 2328 yards - works out to 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 20 balls of our elann.com Sula.
