This pretty issue of Vogue Knitting has lots of variety to tempt everyone into knitting 33 designs for women. With features on organic style, knitting green and what it means, plus a profile of Rebecca Taylor, the "sweater girl" designer of 7th Avenue, you will have some enjoyable reading and day-dreaming. Take a tour of natural fibers - vegetable and animal - try designing naturally, and check out some sensational patterns in bamboo and cotton yarns in earthy tones and a range of textures in vests, dresses, tunics, bags, shrugs, short-sleeved pullovers, and much more to wear and use in warm and hot weather, or all year round. Try a jewel-toned jacket by Kaffe Fassett, featuring his well-known color work, or a cardigan with 3/4 length sleeves, bordered with a lush garden of duplicate-stitch flowers. There are beautiful, modern white lace designs for the bride, and the new wave of classics, in shades of blue, with the focus on cables, tanks, and tunics.

Elann has featured two of its own designs in this issue - see the pretty Peacock Plumes Bolero on p. 18 and the Voyager Lace Stole in elann.com Pakucho Organic Cotton on p.56.
