  • The Fall 2007 Interweave Crochet is celebrating the re-birth of crochet with a stunning collection of over 16 patterns for the fall season. There are light and delicate pullovers and cardigans, a coat, bags, wraps, a skirt, and a broomstick lace capelet for women. You will also find a colorful zippered cardigan for children sizes 2 to 8 years, and a plaid rug for the home. As crochet has made a comeback, there is a wonderful article about the heydays of crochet in the 1960s and 1970s and another about designer Doris Chan whose work has helped the revival of this art form. There is also a handy how-to on felting crochet.

  • Sera Lace Top, designed by Doris Chan, is a graceful and flattering wardrobe addition. The open lace stitch drapes elegantly over the figure while the neckline draws attention upwards and a discreet picot edging finishes the sleeves and body. • Crocheted from side to side, Trellis Pullover, designed by Elissa Sugishita, features an attractive vertical stripe pattern, which together with excellent drape and the side tie at the hip combine for a high-end, streamlined, and sophisticated look. With only basic shaping, it is suitable for beginning crocheters, and is available in sizes S, M, L, and XL (finished bust 36, 39, 42, 45"; finished length 22.5, 24, 25.5, 27").
