MOONLIGHT SONATA SCARF

How can I get help with questions about the MOONLIGHT SONATA SCARF? I've gone through the first 16 rows and the first 12 rows but am not clear on the seven repeats of those twelve rows, that include increases. How can I figure out how many times to repeat the directions between the *'s? The scarf is absolutely beautiful and I would love to make it but can figure out past the first 26 rows. Thank you for your help.

I had ripped out the 26 rows as hopelessly lost in the pattern. I really appreciate your help! I plan to start over with your using your clarifications.
