Highland Wool Photo Contest- get those photos up! benne wrote:
Okay, kids, y'all have bought a lot of Highland Wool and I know darn good and well a bunch of you have been knitting it up into all kinds of wonderful projects. So, start going through your pictures, take pictures if you need to, and don't forget all those projects you posted on the old elann site. You can post all those pictures you posted to the old site to enter the contest. Look, this is yarny stuff you can win, so let's get crackin' and get those photos entered into the contest!

If I don't see a bunch of pictures going up, I'm going to start naming names! Please don't make me go through every single post on the old site and find each and every one of you because you know I will. Now that I think about it, I've got a thing or two to post pictures of too. Good luck everyone, but remember, if you don't post a picture, you can't win!

Just to remind you, here's what Angela posted about the contest:

we are running a contest from now through the end of April with chances to win one of 5 prizes of $100.00 elann dollar credits. To enter, submit a completed project using elann.com Peruvian Highland Wool to the Project Gallery and make sure to select 'submit to contest'. You are welcome to submit more than one project.

Highland Wool Contest winners! Although I did not win the Peruvian Highland Wool project contest, anyone who has knit with this yarn is a winner. The versatile entires demonstrate the broad applications of projects - great stitch definition, felting, and wide selection of colors, too. Needless to say, Elann provides quality and value in many yarn offerings, and the contest adds interest and fun for those of us whose passion is knitting...
I have six white boxes of different yarns from Elann, so I can create more PhylliSweaters.

Elann yarn contests Do you have a list of future Elann contests for specific Elann yarns BEFORE the contest is open? If so, this would give your customers time to order and knit up a project for the contest.
Finiching a lace cardiganr using your full bag sale of NEEDFUL YARN Disco in dark green. I desinged the lace pattern, as well as the sweater. Will send pic to project gallery of this latest PhylliSweater when I finish...

winner of monthly draw I have a LOT of yarn from Elann and have said, "No more." Never say never because I couldn't reisist ordering Insense Full Bag Blow Out a few minutes ago.
??? On the order form, I couln't figure out how to enter the Elann monthly draw. Is my order automatically entered in the monthly draw. (I checked, "your account" and the order form, but couldn't box to enter the monthly draw.
Just so you'll know that I have a sense of humor, I used a credit, so my $ balance is the lowest of any order I have placed with Elann, so I'm sure I'll win....

Project - Clover Leaf The last entries of the Shui Kuen Kozinski contest are stunning. Next time I shall wait to vote. All the entries are winners because the designs are beautiful when knit in Elann's yarns.

Winners of Shui Kuen Design Contest THANKS FOR A FUN CONTEST...
Our eight year old grand daughter, Maya, is visiting. She jumped up & down when she saw my name as winner of the Shui Kuen Design Contest. She hasa asked that I teach her to knit. I think it will be awhile before she is able to knit the Mimosa Border variation of Barbara Walker's pattern, but she is a winner when it comes to enthuasism and patience.
Thanks for the contest and Maya will learn how to knit using Elann Yarn, which she has selected from my "stash".. I'll order an Elann yarn of her choice, and I'll design/knit her a sweater with my prize.
Thanks to all at Elann.

Project - Sonata Earth Tunic I prefer original design sweaters, which offer a creative and more interesting project. No matter the design/pattern, the challenge is to end with a successful project. I design all my PhylliSweaters and appreciate the challenge of a one of a kind sweaters.
? Approximately how many yards of Sonata did you use for this project?
Congrats on a children's design, which is practical for growth and comfort.

Elann Incense - Daphne,
I ordered two full bags of Insense in color banana cream, dye lot #95. I love Insense, too, and my daughter picked out the color for a PhylliSweater, my one of a kind designed sweaters. I shall design and sweater for her. when she has specific ideas for design. I haven't used any of the yarn, yet, although I ususally use 1-2 skeins for gauge/patterns in the sweaters I design. I get good yardage from Insnese and I always order two full bags on Elann's special offerings.
If no one has offeedr to help you get to heaven, I could send you 1-2 balls. Plese respond.
