Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Well, I am off for my Christmas vacation. My computer at home is having a bit of a problem..... so I guess I will be off line till January 4th or 5th! Maybe I will get some knitting done! But I do wish everyone a VERY Blessed Holiday!! Be Safe!!!!!!

Quick Poll: Colors

Like so many of you, I really like almost all colors - I personally stay away from yellow unless it is a soft toned down yellow and I stay away from most orange or rust just because I don`t like them on me. I lean toward the greens lately and I love to mix them with the purple shades. I love the pinks and blues also. I love red`s also - guess this is why I like to do fair isle knitting - I can use all my favorite colors and color combinations!!!! Even the colors that don`t look good on me, I can use in small quantities!!!

Calm yourself - Beleive that when one door closes, another door opens.... Might consider putting the diet on hold if you can, till things straighten out. (and they will!)

I am making a light weight cardigan for over a summer dress (for the AC) out of the parchment color 100% baby one hump camel. This is going to be a hard semester for me though, so.... it will be slow going in the knitting department!!

I have one better... I have been living a living nightmare the last few days. My husband left for Russia on Sunday. I got a call on Tuesday morning from the US consulate in St. Petersburg, stating that they found my husbands credit cards and driver`s license in a fish market. The phone number that he left for me, there was no answer even when I called in the middle of the night. He has not called home or reported the loss to the police. So... he has no idea that we know where his cards are, or that the Consulate is in contact with me. What a mess. We can`t find him, but the consulate doesn`t have any reason to beleive there was fowl play. They have checked hospitals and police stations and the number that he left me was incorrect. Seems like my life is never boring.

Oh - please don`t repeat this to anyone! We have already had the newspaper trying to call for a story - there isn`t any story - we just can`t find him in a huge city.
