What`s on the needles?

Benne I have Seraphim on the needles too. How long did it take for you to complete the ss section? I am about ready to put it into time out. I have 17 more increase rows before I begin the lace section.

Very pretty Grace. I am working on this too, using KnitPicks lace weight and #5`s. I`ve finished 2 repeats so I have a long way to go.

From flat to round?

There is a very nice turtleneck at the Berroco site that I would like to make, but it is knitted flat. My sewing skills are very limited and if possible I would like to make this sweater in the round, but I do not know how to conver the pattern. Could someone point me to a web site or suggest how to go about this?

Oh Alice I can not thank you enough for your help. I fell in love with this sweater the moment I saw it. I will keep you posted how it goes, it may be a while before I start though.

Benne it`s been awhile since I`ve made one so I will need to check my notes and get back to you okay. I did make one in koigu and it was small.It has recently been washed but not blocked so I can`t give you a blocked measurement. Lot of help I am right... lol

From flat to round?

Jayne, learning to sew as a teenager was very difficult for me. My mother was a wonderful seamstress and made all of my clothes from her old clothes, even made my winter coats with matching hat and also in minature for my dolls. I could not grasp sewing and she would really scream at me because of it. About the only thing I do well is sew buttons.
Thanks for your offer of help, but if I can avoid sewing a sweater together I shall.

Benne I have the instructions written out and that is what I used rather than the chart. I`ve tried several time to send you an email but it is returned. I used your new address too. So, if you will send me an email I can reply to it and will send you the written instructions.
