Chicklet ~ how was kindergarten? Oh MacChick, I feel your pain. I think sending my kids off to public school was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. I am relived those feelings.

I`m doing the happy dance ;) I have had the yarn and pattern for a very long time to make a Charlotte`s Web shawl. Well, finally last night I decided it was time to begin. I have made it to my first color change with no problems and it is looking so pretty. Has anyone else made this?

I`m doing the happy dance ;) Theresa I have the instructions all written out. I emailed someone who has a blog and she was kind enough to e them to me. So if you would like I can e them to you. There are a ton of web sites with helpful info. If you need encouragement just holler.

Roll Call: What I knitted over the Labor Day Weekend! Betsy I`ve been working on Charlotte`s Web shawl and am into the 5th. color so I am just about done. I am not real thrilled with the way the colors blended, my fault not the fault of the yarn. Also working on a couple of ponchos in the outback wool for poor kids in Kosovo. I too am anticipating a delivery of camel.
I am also starting to pack for vacation.
DGD`s and I had a mean game of 4 square today, I`d forgot how much fun it can be.

Roll Call: What I knitted over the Labor Day Weekend! The Charlotte is a triangular shawl, no mitering. The pattern is very simple and works up very fast.
I made 2 candleflame shawls for DH`s interpreters. One is out of colinette skye and the other is cherry tree hill bulky.
Bets I have no idea what I will do with the camel, don`t even remember what colors or how many I bought. Impluse buying is not good.
Yeah, ole Sammy and me are keeping company these days. I am getting butterflies just thinking about our trip, 35 years of marriage and he still does that to me. Thanks for the heads up on the pattern, I`ll take a look.
