Question for Peter and Ann I am curious to know if you would be able to do something so that when a web page link is listed in a chat message we could click on it and the link would open up in a new browser page?

Is it a man`s world? You know Bets for my DH being a cop for so many years I am always shocked at the way he deals with sales people, especially car sales! The last vehicle that we bought was the final straw for me, I totally lost in the show room. I said look this is what we must have for a trade in and this is the bottom line that we can afford for a new car, and I`ve already obtained financing so don`t even go there! The fella looked at me shook his head and said you`re kidding right and I said no, while DH just stood there. The salesman said well this is a joke, I can`t sell you that car for this amount and I said fine let`s go and I walked to the car thinking that DH was behind me but he wasn`t, and I was to mad to go back into the show room so I sat in the car for half an hour waiting for DH. When he finally came to the car he was smiling ear to ear and said, are you ready for this? "I got him to accept your deal". Hard to believe that I am an introvert isn`t it!

He`s agreed to pose!!!!!! Do you believe it???!! Benne do we really have to wait until Friday? How about a tease, maybe a leg shot to tide us over. My DH would be just thrilled to model something, he is game to try anything once. Maybe he can be October and I will have him model my shawl (if I ever get it done) whilst we are in Canada.

Lead me not into temptation... for I will find it myself I didn`t get any either, but I did find a web site that sells Le fibre nobili mohair and it is fine looking stuff! I didn`t bookmark the page so if I do decide to buy some I will have to search for it again!

More Poncho design notes MacChick you amaze me! I am working on a child`s poncho in the Outback wool for a friend of my DH in Kosovo. Unemployment is at around 90% there and he has a couple of other friends with small children, so I should be busy for some time.
I hate fringe, just don`t like it at all and I was thinking of adding a knitted ruffle to the one I am working on now. Any suggestions?

Are you ready for some football?????!!!!! I am so jealous!!! You will have a ball. Who are the Titans playing? Will the game be on t.v. nationwide?
Benne it has been really cool here too and August is usually are hottest month of the year.
I see that the Titans and the Packers will be playing on October 11th in Green Bay, should be an outstanding game. Have a good time. Hey a poncho picture from the stadium would be nice...

trip to Quebec Hi Julia thanks for offering some information on your beautiful city. We will be staying at the Hotel Sainte Anne. We will be in Quebec for 5 days and 4 nights. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated, where to eat what to see....My mothers family is from Quebec, her name was Derouin. I did have the opportunity to vist the small town in France that the family came from. What a thrill that was.

trip to Quebec Can you beleive this Pat, we will be in Quebec from September 29th, my birthday, until October 3rd. I searched the web all morning looking for hotels and there are an awful lot of sell outs for the dates we are going to be there. Our 35th. wedding anniversary is at the end of October so we will be celebrating that too.
Now about those Garfield flannel`s Beene... P.J.`s take up way too much room in a suitcase <bg>.
