Anyone heard from Marion? You know, that`s exactly what I imagined she would be doing, chainsaw in hand! That`s amazing that Buddy wasn`t scared, eh?

Patw: Gorgeous! "The Artist in Her Red Period"! Those sweaters are very pretty Pat. Lovely work! Is the one with the "kites" done in squares, ie modular knitting? I can`t quite tell in the picture but I think I see something like that.

Wow, Bets What a cool vest, Bets! Looks like a lot of fun to knit. I`m staring at it trying to figure out how the heck you do that! Looks like it is knit in one piece?

I finally found the perfect hat for me! Most definately a hat for dual purpose. Horns or antenna! (actually I`d probably wear it - just to torture my kids!!)

Something to laugh at! My DH is totally bait and switch!
He now has complete amnesia in the kitchen but loves to tell stories of when he worked summer jobs up north in the camp kitchens! Hmmm!
Before we were married, he and I were living in diff. cities. He was at my place for days off and I called from work to say that a friend was coming for dinner and could he make moms bread stuffing and put it in the chicken I had in the fridge and roast it. Told him where the recipes were etc. Got home from work, friend arrived, chicken roasted beautifully and then we carved it up. The stuffing was an intense gold colour! I couldn`t figure it out! Asked DH and he said that was the dried parsley! Hmmm, I said. he got out the spice jar and showed me the parsley he had used. After I picked myself up off the floor, I told him it was turmeric I had bought at the bulk store and put in an empty parsley-labelled container! He had put 2 Tbsp in the stuffing! He said that he thought it was a little funny coloured but it said "parsley". I wouldn`t do it again, but it wasn`t bad!! LOL

I finally found the perfect hat for me! Oh, the brain waves! This will be my first year as a HS football parent. I could make a few in the school colours for the other parents and I, so our sons can identify their adoring fans! Colours are black and gold. Waddya think?;-}

I finally found the perfect hat for me! Oh, ya, black and gold striped horn hats with bells!! A good lesson in humility for our kids - or I guess that would be humiliation!!
