Great projects, ladies!
|
I was out of town for 4 nights with the family. DH`s mom is quite ill and had aborted a trip to visit us. We needed to see her, so drove the 13 hours plus food and potty breaks, to Winnipeg. Unfortunately didn`t have time to get to Ram Wools.
In the hotel, the night before our return, we were awoken by the fire alarm going off at 2:15 am! We were on the 6th floor so stumbled out - me in bare feet-(couldn`t find my sandals, but I wasn`t alone!!) to wait for the fire dept to arrive. Turned out to be a false alarm... don`t think DH got back to sleep but the rest of us did.
Shui Kuen - We headed to Kenora one day and saw the sign to Thunder Bay - 500km (5 hours) to your house!
Patricia - love the poncho. Really cute! Did you use the Lopi type Gjestaal or the thinner yarn?
Hope you find the perfect gauge and stitch for your shawl.
CoolSue - I`d be pretty proud of that hat! I think you`ve "got it"! Moving up north, you`ll be able to wear it!
Skully - great felted bag. That`s your first felting project isn`t it? Fun!! Love the colours you chose and the pattern. Neat idea, reversing the colours of the pattern.
Bets - Great idea for your glitsy scarf. Your old buddy will be delighted. Let her think that you`ve been knitting it for months!!
MacChick - great shot of Anne making the Barbie shawl! Now she`s off and running, eh? I`ll bet she was pretty proud!

I think that the dishwasher was even empty! My standards aren`t even very high! (when I get into cleaning mode, the kids ask who is coming over!!) good luck!

I think that the dishwasher was even empty! My standards aren`t even very high! (when I get into cleaning mode, the kids ask who is coming over!!) good luck!
