Shui Kuen Awww, Shui Kuen, I can`t believe how adorable little Beavy is!! I haven`t shown my kids because I know they will make me go looking for one!! Are the babies called pups? How many in a litter? Was the mom protective?
I just love your Outback sweater. I`d love one just like that. looks so cozy. It would be perfect as a winter "Chinook" sweater for these parts. Your top down is coming along beautifully. Do you like the technique?
I can`t believe you figured out the "going to the cottage" style sweater from a picture. You ARE good!! I started one last week and then discovered I didn`t have enough yarn. Will do it another time as I love that pattern.

Lisa B great model you have there Lisa! I love the "one arm - one leg" pose. She is very sweet. The jumper is great and I`ll bet the cotton is perfect for it as it doesn`t seem to stretch, does it? I have made 2 tops in the araucania. The garter stitch bottom is great to keep the hem from rolling and looks good. Did you have to knit the hem on smaller needles?

Gisela, I`m sorry it took me so long to reply. I`ve been offline for a while. I made up the pattern for the christening dress. I used the Sweater Wizard software for a tiny sweater. Then I knitted the bodice, bottom up, from that pattern (leaving it open in the back). Then I picked up stitches for the skirt and knitted around and around and around for about six weeks. Then I used two circulars to knit in the sleeves. After all that, I added a lace border to the hem and sleeves. Thanks for your interest. Melinda

Should we all get elann tattoos? I`m more for the idea of bubble-gum cards (with beautiful sweaters on the front) and the "stick on, and peel off" variety of tatoos. ;-}

Great Projects Everyone! Absolutely gorgeous projects ladies! Patricia, we are having a thunder storm and I wish I had that shawl to wrap myself up in! What a nice design and pretty yarn.
MacChick - very pretty sweater and tank. You embroidered on top of knit cables? I`m squinting and thats what I think I see. Neat effect! Will have to try the "one ball tank" for my great niece or cousins daughter. Really cute!
Martha: Your adorable baby girl looks great in her little fairisle and hat. Aww!
I love being able to see all of the greeat projects! We`re sure lucky to be in the age of the digital camera - just gotta get me one!!
