It is the Oct 7 post. The ladders did seem to be a bit widish looking but it works!! I even gave it a bath and blocked it.

This pic shows the construction better as i can see where it has been seamed.
I`m sure you can knit it without a pattern. It appears to be constructed like a hat knit on two needles. It looks to me like a garter stitch rectangle with some decreases at the bottom end like one would do for the top of a hat. It appears that it is sewn up from the bottom to within a couple inches of the cast on edge to create the flare at the top of the cocoon.
Give it a go!

It`s funny, I was at an unlikely store or business in the past while and by the till they had a stack of boxes of these. I laughed and picked up 2 games. Gave a set to DS and he said that he`s missing 2 piggies. Figures someone ran off with them!! Buggah! He`s not getting mine!
