Berroco Smart Mohair and Namaste bags I have the Malibu bag and have used it for work to carry files, books and my purse stuff. So far so good - it`s holding up well. It has been used for about 2 months. My only complaint is that the hardware is heavy!! What a wimp, eh?

Berroco Smart Mohair and Namaste bags Snort! That`s perfect!!
There is a place called Leslieville in the province but I wouldn`t want to have anything "logo" from there. It is a very small place and the only thing noteworthy is that there was a social studies teacher who was run off for being a white supremacist. He had been teaching there for years messing with the minds of the towns youth.

Great scarf, Les Thanks, guys! It was lots of fun dropping those stitches and was very quick! I made it for a friend who is going through a rough patch whom I`ll see tonight. Took just 2 balls of yarn 33 sts wide makes 7 inches. It is not knit on the bias like the conventional Clapotis.

Interweave Felt - for those who were on SSI a couple of years ago Have been reading this mag with interest. There is lots I`d like to try particularly with the wet felting.

There is an article written by the mgr of Treenway Silks. Some of us went there a couple of years ago while at Alices retreat. The Article is "Mardi Gras and Birds of a Feather Silk Fusion Bags. Very cool!

cambridge jacket Frustrating, eh?
It sounds like your zipper is perhaps too long for the length of the sweater edge you are sewing it to.
Here is a tutorial which takes you through each step as you click on the pics.

Not sure if she says it here or not but I remember reading that one might want to buy a zipper that is about 2-3 inches or so longer than the required seam. You use what you need and cut off the top with enough teeth left to fold over and stitch in place as you have lost that little zipper stopping thing at the top of the zipper.
Good luck with those ripples!!

Great scarf, Les Marie - Silk Garden is much softer than Kureyon but is still not what you would call "soft". You must try some! THe earthy beauty of the yarn is way too great to pass up!

Felting Sample Packs & New Addi size Alice - is that the noro sock yarn you used? I have a skein and have swatched but haven`t given it a bath yet. I just bought the Noro collection Book 3 which is new. It has several sweaters that are very pretty knit with the sock yarn.
If that`s what you used, what do you think of it?

Halloween For once the kids didn`t have to have costumes to fit over snowsuits! It was decent weather. We had mostly the little ones this year as I think the older ones must have been dropped off at one of the towns. Fine by me - they`re the ones I want to see. We had 40 some come to the door.
I saw a few little ones like your DD, Marie, who had been to houses giving out bags of chips. Darned pumpkin was full after just two houses!
