So what`s on the needles this week? Bets: I test knit the first 44 rows of the pattern with soy bean yarn (left over from the coin lace scarf). It blocks beautiful. It is a nice small doily with all the leaves around. You should try that. SK

Happy Birthday Shui Kuen! Thank you everyone! I had a nice birthday, good trout dinner from our pond, a bottle of Gewurztraminer 2000, and cheese cake. Took a walk in the warm sun, blue sky, clean forest and fresh air. As Benne said: life is good.
Yarn fairy is sending me some buffalo gold, thank you to bets.
A pleasant talk to Benne about Niebling at ravelry.
I am on the flowers of "Lily-of-valley". Nice easy pattern, it is in Anna, you can get that here in elann.
Thank you again everyone.

So what`s on the needles this week? Bets: for 44 rows, it is about 12 inches round. I am working on pure bamboo, for 94 rows, most likely will come out to about 26 inches. It all depends on how thick the yarn is. I am so surprised how beautiful the soy bean yarn turn out to be.

Whatcha knitting? I am finishing the edging of Niebling`s lily of the valley. Going to block it today and back to my other project again.
Bets, I think elann`s baby cashmere is as good as the over glorified, over priced buffalo yarn.
I haven`t received my free skein yet. How do you like yours?

I finished my first Niebling`s lily of the valley It is blocking right now. The blocking size is 30 inches. It is twice the size since my needles are 2.5mm with elann`s fingering pure bamboo. Love the yarn and love the project. After 100`s of pins, my thumb is sore.

I finished my first Niebling`s lily of the valley Yes bets. Use solid color of sonata will give you a very good size table topper. Mine is unpinned this morning. It is at the center of my dinner room table, very impressive. I am pleased that I try doily knitting. Love, love bamboo yarn. Looks just like silk.
