Benne: The color is wine.

Benne: I don`t know what to make with millefile fine. I looked at my magazine for the pullover pattern, but there is not any with size 4 needles.I am thinking with leaf lace at the center and on the top of the sleeves.

Thank you Benne for looking up patterns for me. The millefine cotton will be a pullover, that is all I know right now.
The weaather is changing to good, I am going fishing tomorrow. Outback cardigan is almost finished. Next week, after returning from fishing, I will try to take a picture. Hope it will not be 90F.

Thank you Laura and Benne: It is beautiful. I think if I put the arrowhead at the center of the body and center of sleeves will be perfect.

Back from fishing
|
Benne: I am back from fishing, and finished the Outback mohair cardigan. DH took a picture. It is 24C outside, and I am wearing that heavy winter.....
Marion: I also took a picture of the sierra pullover which you would like to see.
MacChick: I took the picture of the "top down", which is half way done.
I will have the film developed next week.
I have not received my cotton yet. Can hardly wait to see and touch it.

Back from fishing

Thank you Bets. The fishing trip, one way is 3 hrs driving and 2 hrs on the boat. I got plenty done in the car and at the evening. So it was a trip of knitting and fishing.

I got your scan. Thank you very much. Lucky to be your special. I got my cotton today. I am swatching the rich wine color one. I come up with 24st/4" with 4mm needle. It is beautiful. Thank you for recommending it to me. The yarn tends to SUPERCOIL- I pulled from outside. Did you said that is better way to pull the yarn than from inside?
I am not going to start a new project(very difficult) until I finish my top down.

I agree with Benne and Sandra. It is wonderful to see and feel the yarn before purchase. Since my samples always come late, Sneak Peek is the second best. I also see no conflicts between sneak Peek, newsletter and samples subscription. Sneak Peek, you can see but you can not feel. Newsletter, you can see and feel, but you can`t swatch. Samples, you can see, feel and swatch.
