Shui Kuen, just in time for St. Patrick`s Day... Gorgeous and inspiring! I`ve got to finish some stuff so I can cast on with the devon too!

Look at SK`s Bird`s Eye Shawl in the Peeks!!! Did you see the beautiful shawl SK designed in the new Soie Bambou? Ohmygosh it`s gorgeous! Yay, SK!

`Fessing Up Sigh...I`ve yet to make it onto that "no yarn buying" wagon. I`m good for a couple of months and then it hits me or rather, Elann offers something irresistible. You do lots of charity knitting and knitting so you have every right to an indulgence here and there even if you are on the wagon (IMHO.) I`m just trying to keep the stash in equilibrium (and not doing a great job at it especially with the bag sales.)

I`m definitely in for that Soie Bambou--hopefully for the Bird`s Eye. I tried the original version with no success. SK said this one is much easier so I`m going to swatch and see if I can figure it out--maybe in some stashed devon. The colors of the bambou are gorgeous--Joan got me thinking about the colors I choose since I won`t be coloring my hair forever. I`m going to have to start going back to winter colors one of these days--I like the cassis and the denim and the teal.

There`s no harm in a little yarn, eh?

`Fessing Up Well, not just yet, Joan. I`m looking ahead a bit--by the time I get the bird`s eye knit, I will probably be salt and peppa instead of peppa with a bit of salt :) My mom has great silvery-grey hair--I`m hoping my hair will do the same--but again, not just yet.

Are you going to share a pix of your new do? I love short hair--so trendy and cute! Have you noticed a difference in the texture too?

Too bad `bout the Cathay. It looked so nice on my monitor.

Benne`s new look!!! What everyone else said. It is such a flattering length--it really does become you! Looks very updated and polished and makes you look even younger!

checking in Sounds like you`ve been going through a rough patch. I can`t offer any advice but I hope Friday comes quickly for you and that you have a speedy recovery. I hope that you will feel well enough afterwards to knit and that you get to work on something that you love (and that is bursting with color.) Although I`ve never met you, I confess that whenever I question my color combinations I always wonder what the QOC would do. Good luck, Pat!

Ok Ladies, Whats on the needles? I`ve got nothing. I`m basking in the glory of having all of my WIP`s done*. I decided that I should be a one at a time project girl--I feel too scattered when I have too many things going at once and I waste a lot of time trying to figure out where I left off. It`s a wonderful feeling--I`m reluctant to start anything for a couple of days.

*the Lopi disaster stuffed in a bag shoved way under my desk no longer counts as a WIP.

Kelly, you finished the wrap! Thanks, Joan! It was the perfect project to pick up when I had short periods to knit. I thought it was going to take forever but it was actually a quick knit. I can`t believe how much softer the mohair is after a good soak.

Need help The notes say that the stitch count changes from row to row. Doesn`t the "no stitch" box mean that those stitches have been decreased and are not there to knit? The row instructions are written out too--that looks easier to follow. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in too!
