check out the bag sell today... I think we`re all in the same boat as far as that resolution goes.

Free Patterns in Highland Silk I love that bolero pattern. Are you going to make it with the Autumn Purple?

Free Patterns in Highland Silk I think both would look great. I`m envisioning the one CBM knit with a chickami underneath. Of course, will have to check yardage.

circular needle mishap I had the same thing happen with the wood options. The cable popped out from the base of the fitting. Boy, was I surprised. I called KP and they said they`d send out a replacement cable. I`ve never had this happen before. It`s definitely something to consider when making a large, heavy project.

Little late on the bandwagon I can`t wait to see what you do with them, Grace QOS! The bargain hunter in me keeps looking at the remaining colors wondering if I can`t put them to use somehow.

Little late on the bandwagon You are so right, AmyQOY. I`m hoping someone will buy the lot of purple. I keep telling myself surely I or my girls can wear that color. Ha!

Baby Thorpe for wee H! So, so, so sweet, Les! What`s the yarn? It looks very soft.

single balls of HS I noticed Elann added to their stock of single balls of the HS. Almost all of the colors have at least two balls available.

Machines- Sewing machine: Pfaff
Serger: White (i think)

Haven`t seen hide nor hair of either of them for a long while. Must be hiding behind the yarn storage bins.

single balls of HS Well, what can I say except that I am Weak with a capital W. I saw those two lonely balls of Mesa Teal which I "needed" for my plan and figured, why pay all that shipping for two balls--may as well throw in another bag. All of you yarn dieters, look away. And yes, Jan, the mental clock gets re-set yet again:)

Our Very Own Shui Kuen Me too! SK sounds just as I imagined. What a nice interview. I really enjoyed it!

Way to go Jayne Oh my gosh, Jayne! She`s a show stopper! I absolutely love it. Just when I think I`m safe, Elann offers something else simply irresistible. This is going into the queue--at the top of the list. Gorgeous knitting, Jayne!!! I`m totally inspired! Of course, this is the anniversary issue that I don`t have.

Way to go Jayne I love it, Jan! Now what color do I choose?
1/15/2008 11:45:52 AM
So tell us, Jayne- And what size did you knit? I noticed the bust sizes started out very small--is there negative ease?
1/15/2008 12:30:31 PM
Way to go Jayne Aw, thanks, Jan. I`m partial to the brown but I really like the greens and blues too. Decisions. Decisions. I`m going to start that yarn diet in what`d we all decide--March or July? I`m going to have to mark that on my calendar as the "no internet" month.

So tell us, Jayne- Ooh, thanks, Jayne. The jacket looks teensy (I realized that I did have the magazine after all.) I was planning on going a size up and glad that I ordered enough yarn for the bigger size. You really did a super job on this sweater. Yours looks so much better than the pix in the magazine. I hope my finishing skills are up to the test!

So tell us, Jayne- I was going to wait, really I was, but the yarn was flying out of here so I "had" to load up the cart (yet again.) I went with the hazelnut thinking it would be the most versatile. I love all of the colors so it was a difficult choice!
