OT~ A mini vacation Sounds very restful and productive. I`ve been doing a bit of cleaning up around here too. I love the early morning hours too--coffee and knitting, no arguing kids and no tv.

Enjoy your break!

Oh yay, Christmas knitting in the sidebar Great color combo, S! I bet your DD loves the set!

And the socks--wow! That`s a great accomplishment. Socks for everyone!

Nice knitting!

I Put On My Big Girl Panties And... How exciting, Jayne! That sounds like fun. I`m expecting to see some handspun at your Etsy store soon.

Knitting Mojo I feel the same way sometimes. Bets is right--you probably just need to have something fun to knit. Cast on that tank top--nothing like a quick, simple satisfying knit to get that mojo back.

Where is everyone, and what is your first project for 2008? I`m not sure what`s next. All I know is the first (second, third, etc.)project of 2008 must come from the stash!

Hey, What`s Everyone Knitting?? Hi Jayne! It`s nice to have you around again! DD looks very happy in her new sweater, your mitts are gorgeous and your hand dyed rovings look divine!

I`m finishing a few projects and debating what to start next. I feel like I`m in a Ravelry induced paralysis--so many things that I`d like to make. Guess I`d better finish up my 2007 UFO`s so I can start 2008 knitting with a clear conscience!

Can`t wait to see your Cusco jacket!

Happy new year!

OT: need Ipod help.... I haven`t tried to delete from the library--I`ve only made new playlists when I get sick of certain songs. I have a heck of a time navigating that thing and customer support (cough) is not very helpful either--the only time I seem to get anything figured out is at the Apple store. Is that an option? Wish I could be more of a help.

Vest shown in sidebar Hi Jaybee! There were three versions that Elann had posted--one for the Aurora mohair, one for Mister Joe Montepulciano and one for Mr. Joe Pony. The mohair one had one or two less sets of increases on the outer edge (as I recall) than the Montepulciano version but other than that, the pattern was the same. Holler if you have questions.

Les-I am digging the Thorpe Great hat! I saw it when you queued it and queued it myself. Whoever said it had it absolutely right--it`s one of the few that I`ve seen that looks like the earflaps belong. Thanks for posting!

ravelry comment I totally agree! It`s a great resource and has prevented a few potential train wreck projects. Of course, it has doubled or tripled my queue too. I love it!
