Who Will be the First to Try It? Excellent -- easy for you, and easy for me too!

Nice lacework MacChick - I`ll bet Anne is the envy of all her classmates in that poncho. You two must fight over who gets to wear it.

MacChick! Help us fools! Hi Bets,
Did you send a picture? I haven`t received one yet, so perhaps you could try again.

sneak peek!! You`re right, Bea, and it`s the softest tweed I`ve ever felt in my life. I just keep picking it up and rubbing it next to my cheek, in awe of its softness.

Okay, I admit it; I don`t come out and say it very often, but I`m the queen enabler around here!

new sneak peek You`re right, Benne - acrylic microfibre is entirely different than anything most of us have come to expect when we see the word acrylic. The Micro Cable is extremely smooth and soft, and I would describe its hand is almost drapey. It`s bulky gauge with no bulk.

The word `bulk` has just made me think of the term ‘high bulk acrylic’ - I think this term is given to the type of acrylic that most of us are familiar with - the kind that is spun with a ‘high bulk’ look, to make the acrylic mimic the look of wool (i.e. fuzzy/hairy). Microfibre acrylic is the opposite of this - extremely smooth – more like cotton, but without the weight of cotton.

point mousse you finished your shawl! It`s a truly beautiful shawl. To get it to show up bigger on the left frame here, you could re-submit the photo, turned 90 degrees, and I could just delete the smaller submission for you. Vertical orientation is always the best bet for this site, and please feel free to submit more than one shot -- i.e. a full shot, and then a close up of the pattern stitch.

On line Linie #101 We`ve had a return of 8 balls of color 5-Mediterranean. Is this your color? If so, email me at info@elann.com. I`ll save it until Friday, October 8th, to give you a chance to contact me.

Check out the sneak peeks! Hi Benne,
I was curious about this too. All the Jo Sharp yarns come with color names already on the labels, so we simply went with what was printed.

Oat Couture Leaflet EK703 - Metro Pullover -Ann Cannon Brown Hi Patricia,
Yes, it`s made to look like a cardi, because it has ribbing at the center front, and buttons sewn on, but it`s actually an easy-knit pullover.

argh -- too slow on the draw! Good news! I was able to re-order some of those colors, and they should be here by late October, or early November. If the shipment arrives as ordered, there will be 131 Coal, 132 Alabaster, 134 Casket, 135 Merlot, and 137 Empire.

Alpaca: Soon:-)

The Highland Wool shipment has not arrived yet, but it`s expected very soon. We`re hoping to be able to offer it before the end of the month, but we can`t promise a date until it actually arrives.

pachuko You never know what could come back to Elann, Corinna! If we did bring back Pakucho, it would be in the Spring season.
