Emily`s hat Oh, and I should have said....I hope that the yarn color is okay with mom and dad.

I like colors OTHER than pink or blue for babies, and I rather like the gentle purple. It`s not lavender, and not bright purple either. Love that Taj Mahal.

Roll Call - Yarn Rangers The last mouth-watering one (for me) was the K1C2 Mousse, which I bought in mid-November. Didn`t mean to, but I did. I`m now eyeball-deep in debt, as the house needs all kinds of stuff--from the new fridge, to electrical, to plumbing.

Fortunately, the next offering isn`t calling my name like the Mousse did. Too little yardage. I have so much yarn that I don`t like to buy yarn that would only be economical for hats and scarves and stuff. I have plenty of leftoevers for that.

Poll -- Lurkers -- How many are there? How many do Posters Know About? It would be great if lurkers also posted once in awhile. I won`t post a bio, but an occasional pic certainly doesn`t hurt too much. No reason to be shy.

Annoying kitty! Anyone have a solution for this charming cat activity: shredding the window plastic which is attempting to keep the heat in and the heating bill down???

My lovely kitty has taken to putting her paws on it, extending claws, and then pulling down. She appears to be having a wonderful time doing it, but I`m getting very irritated with her!

Annoying kitty! My house does not lack for scratching opportunities. Scratchers of all kinds that are used. She`s more playing than doing the real stretch-n-scratch. At the window film it`s just a one-paw thing. Cats!

Annoying kitty! On stringing yarn through the house: I`ve been the victim of this on more than one occasion. My own fault, however. There`s just nothing as fun as yarn, is there?

Baby lamb pics Chartreuse....do you have any? How very sad about your Fuzzy Wuzzy. Must have been incredibly hard.

And Benne, you just need to keep working on that Thom! What a great shepherd you would be. Aren`t there college students around who need money for clearing land and such?

Yeah, Norah Gaughan is kicking Berroco butt! Hurrah for berrocco. When everything becomes about wacky scarves....YAWN!

That new alpaca/wool mix comes in a nice range of colors, too.

Cameras, Crooks, and Collies Chartreuse: We GOTTA get you a camera. Please. Do you have a neighbor? A yarn buddy? Someone to lend you a camera?

And let`s start planning for Chartreuse`s retirement from shepharding. People with crooks and collies are especially requested. Chartreuse`s fuzzy girls should go somewhere nice when it`s time for Chartreuse to retire!

My olympic project won`t get a medal A former Texan says "gross." No, armadillos aren`t FOOD, ya fool. They are dumb little critters which are (unfortunately) most likely roadkill. (Poor things.)

I don`t know what kind of surgery that you`re contemplating, but I`m a total advocate for invoking the "short term disability" clause in work arrangements. We work too long, and too hard, for our employers without taking the proper time to care for ourselves. Really. Investigating how one`s life could be made better by medical intervention is a GOOD thing.

Wavering sooooooo bad Gosh, I`m in a quandry. Having bought a house, and needing insulation and electrical work, I`m poor as a churchmouse. A churchmouse with a church of her very own--but just barely.

I keep putting the Morea and the Optim in my cart, however......argh. I`m heartsick as colors disappear.
