You just have to be careful that all skeins intended for use in said projects are carefully locked up from predatory pets in search of entertainment. Otherwise you will join the ranks of those of us unable to finish a project until we move and archaic artifacts are uncovered or pity is taken by fellow Elannites with similar taste.

Who`s going to Mayfair?
|
I like that Shrug pattern too. It does seem appropriate for the Mayfair. I`m not quite sure what I am going to do with mine, just know for whom. The Caribbean blue keeps begging me to join it`s friends in my yarn closet, but I am trying to turn a blind complete order finger to the entreaties. You may not be seeing my completed Mayfair projects for a few years at the rate the line in front has expanded, but I might just have to bump these up in line. daryl

Good luck with the move. Praying for a cool day in June in Florida might be a minor miracle, but here`s hoping you have one nontheless. Daryl

Great Scarves Ms Sandra D!!!!
|
They are beautiful. Are you sneaking in accomplished Christmas presents already? What a great use of Peru, another justification when yarn is too tempting, but I really don`t need another sweater and I KNOW I won`t get one done, less yarn for a scarf and so elegant! Daryl

Question about Mayfair Summer sky color
|
Has anybody gotten Mayfair summer sky? Is it more of a baby blue or azure blue? I got the Evening blue and it is a bright royal. What I really want is the Caribbean, but the girls both already have sweaters that color. The purple crush is a lovely purple with just a hint of dusty, and the texture of the yarn is just perfect for my plans...Daryl

Question about Mayfair Summer sky color
|
I`m looking at pullovers for the DD#s. Both have blue eyes and wear pullovers rather than sweatshirts. My girlie girls no longer wear dresses all the time, but we are just starting to occasionally wear jeans. The little one has to have sweaters that match her pants which I make out of fun cotton prints or flannel. The older one mostly wears black knit pants. I`m thinking a very simple pullover with two cables on the sides up over the shoulders, but tempted to make something more complex. Still toying with the summer sky, but don`t want something too light. I`m also thinking of making something more lacy to wear over a camisole for DD 1, but she`s fairly conservative these days. Daryl

greetings from Tampa
|
I`ve been checking your blog too. Glad you are moved in and only lost one to the heat. Some of the best places take a while to grow on you, so I hope the LYS improves with use. Hard to head to Punta Gorda when you need a quick fix and fondle. While Elann fills the need for dream and plan there is nothing like contact comfort. You may have to keep some of your baby cashmere back for rolling around in on those bad days if the LYS doesn`t improve.
