I use a case to contain the fuz and have never used jeans. The HW felts very fast as doesn the Cascade 2020 without the need for jeans. Just keep the water level low.

OT-Touchy Subject

I`m with the others, definitely go for the babysitting help.
Also, be prepared for unpacking that took 3 days bb (before baby) may take 3 months ab (after baby) - this goes for everything you do. That was the hardest for me to get used to after mine came along after 16 years of marriage.
The dogs are likely to be your biggest problem. Be prepared for agression. Even dogs that like kids can turn when a baby invades their territory and they figure out it isn`t going away.

What`s on the needles, what`s got your attention??

Lots on needles, but the projects getting my attention include a second sock size 13, a first sock for a toddler and the lacy ends to a scarf done in kid silk haze, pattern from an older Knitters.

life challanges or knitting opportunities?

So my boss calls on Wed pm and says they need me in Fairfax VA Friday am for 2 weeks and the first thing on my mind was - What knitting projects should I take with me?
(then I called DH and broke the news)
(I brought socks to finish)

I know the candy you are talking about, but can`t remember the name. It is also the same colors as the Dutch mints I liked as a kid.
The Rio is what I`m lusting after. Wish I could knit faster.....

Definitely have yarn too pretty and soft to knit. Brooks farm yarn falls into that category, though I`m trying to get it knitted.
