Really, really, I`m not gloating but my JS mohair arrived today I saw that Dolce last week at the LYS but resisted. It is really nice and would make a super summer tank. I hope my Jasmine tea comes today. I`ve still got a little bit of room under the desk at work. (the house if full so I have the boxes come to the office. Not entirely true, I have them come to the office as an enticement to keep working) If I keep up the stash I`ll need a bigger desk.

I`m running out !!! LOL I too ordered 2 balls for felting because it was such a nice color to combine with others. Benne and I must have very similar stashes. Beautiful Shawl I saw one in a store in the veriegated and loved it for the color. However the solid really shows off the lace. I`m going to have to get the pattern.

@#$$%^!!! Who has an unfinished baby project??? Not unfinished, just unmailed. Hoped to post a picture Friday, but ran out of time. Left for the coast, and now we are back and T has a second son.

I LOVE that cat! Thanks. The jungle flower is real. Think christmas cactus on steroids. The plant is about 5 ft in diameter, flowers are about 4 in across. They bloom at night and only last 1 night. Seemed more fun to include a flower in the picture than my ususal prop on the couch picture. I think I`ll try sending another picture since this one turned out so out of focus. The cat is wearing a little orange scarf and it doesn`t show up well

Hip Hip Hooray!!! Three cheers for Eileen for taking on the very big task of putting the blanket together. Whipping out a square was a piece of cake, but putting them together, Whew.

Hip Hip Hooray!!! I started with the hobby horse lace panel from BW`s charted designs, then picked up stitches and knitted the frame. The panel wasn`t square, so I did a short row on the sides to even it up. I used Victorian Violet for the panel and Wisteria and Celedon for the border.

Felting question For small totes that won`t carry much weight, I like one strand, otherwise the finished fabric is too heavy for my taste. I did a felted hat with 1 strand HW and 1 of outback mohair. For slippers that get more wear, I think 2 would be plenty.
