White Lies Filigree Lace jacket The Quetcha is off a bit from the pattern (22spi vs 20spi) but I was hoping I could just adjust a bit. Hard to tell since I hadn`t actually bought the pattern and now will need to wait for re-stocking. In looking through my stash, I found some Debbie Bliss that might work as well.
I`ve got too much Christmas to finish before I start something else.

Highland Wool Made me laugh.

I was relieved to see the sneek peeks were Jo Sharp cuz I`ll be travelling and I won`t be buying.

I`ve been knitting my last few left overs for a surprise. It is really nice wool.

Looking for Sea-Tac Elannites- Oh, catch the flu, sneak off early and go to Tricoter. It is worth it. They have very, very, very nice stuff, even if Miss M won`t wear the poncho I knitted with yarn from there. I would have liked more time to go through the sale bin. The buttons alone are worth the trip.

Ghislaine what a beautiful shawl Wow oh wow. Very beautiful.
Where can one find the pattern?

Who`s getting mohair and what will you make with it? I almost missed my plane, stopping to order `just a bit` of the swamp and velvet. Of course, while in route, I thought of something that would take more velvet, but it was gone by the time I had internet access again. Don`t know what I`ll do with it.

What Kind of Knitter Are You? I came back as a knitting Goddess
You appear to be a Knitting Goddess. You are constantly giving and are unconcerned with reward, you simply want others to love knitting as much as you do. If someone wants to knit miles of novelty yarns, you are there for them. If someone wants to learn short row shaping, you can help. There are no taboos in knitting, only opportunities to grow. Everyone should have friend like you around if they want to learn to knit, and there`s a good chance that your passion has rubbed off on a few others.

Don`t know how I got that result lol

Did everybody get your newsletter/sample skeins? I got mine! I`ve used the Zara and really liked it. It will be the hardest to resist for me. Stretch merino is the close second. I`m ususally anti-superwash, but this feels pretty darn soft.....

question for Scullyknits just a few hours - I did one in about 4 - on a plane with no interruptions. The second one was much faster than the first. They only take 2 skeins, $5 hard to beat the investment. I think they would be worth making to sell. Read the posts below on copyrights and don`t forget to credit the designer <big grin>

Scullyknits! What beautful bags Thank you all very much, and a big thanks to Ann for posting it. I was inspired by Marion and MacChick. Marion sent us all patterns, but knew I could never get my act together to mail them and MacChick is always posting good patterns.
I found it much easier to make up the bag than to write it all down. Confession, I`m still tweeking the handle design. I may need to post a revision.

color advice As others have mentioned, I like dark colors for the bottoms and straps so they don`t show the dirt. One thing to remember is that felting causes some fiber migration, thus if too contrasting, the fiber bleed may be more noticable. Also, each color felts slightly differently. The purple bag came out slightly smaller than the grey and red bag. Not a big deal, but don`t be surprised.

Jean: I`ve been trying to get up the nerve to do a sweater `top down`. Did you like it? How did you do the sleeves?
