Is Foliage a good candidate for a Lady Eleanor? I kinda like the bright Frans Hals.....

Whatcha knitting, kids? finishing stuffing and sewing a sparkling dragon :)
Also plugging away on a Golden Nugget shawl with some Brookes Farm yarn. This one is a real keeper. The pattern is doing exactly what I wanted it to with the yarn. Great pattern SK.

Olympic excitement! Glued to the TV for the swimming - hate the Phelps coverage, love the races. I used to race at a MUCH lower level and what they can do amazes me.
Beach volleyball raises my blood pressure! Too sexist. The girls wear tiny bikinis like it is fun to get sand burns and the guys wear sensible baggy shorts and T`s. Also the commentators talk about how the women players met their husbands and junk like that.

Last call for HUGe OK, I can`t stand it, count me in.
I`d be Very happy with 5 in a group.

Reconnected to the World Yikes! Yet another reason to avoid housekeeping.
Wishing you a speedy mend.

Noro Niji arrived Wow, as ususal wish I`d bought more. If somebody is less than thrilled with their color 86 (brown blue and gold), I`ll take it off your hands.
I`d be willing to pass along the 3 skeins of 261 (the black and purple) if someone needs them.

Still Alive our LYS is moving due to a lost lease - not easy to run a business these days.
Good to hear you`re able to get up and about.

Toe up socks... There is a free pattern for the Jaywalker sock - toe up version. Sorry I don`t have the link, a google search will find it. Remember when switching from top down patterns that any pattern will also be "toe up"
There is a really good cast on for toe up at Knitty

Fashion Trend I went about my day confident that no one would like this except my 6 yr old who`s new favorite colors are black and gold. Came on line to order and it`s gone! As a long time customer, I know how it works, but it never ceases to amaze me.
I saw a similar cotton version in the LYS - guess I`ll head there.

I caved!! Guessing from the speed the black and white disappeared, many people caved. I grabbed a couple of the Granite, just so I could say I did.

hug-e question T - do need an update on the counts if you could please. I noticed on the last post, there were some that may be in a lot of 5, but then there were several drop outs.

Corey, if you search the chat site this year, for HUGe, there is a post from T that has the cost details.

oooh, Monday`s Outback wool I`d say relatively short. I had done one kinda loose and then saw the same color knit by Alice at a much tighter guage. Her project looked very different than mine.
