Happy Flapperdoodle thoughts needed -OT
|
It`s embarrassing to be so whiny and sickly but I am asking for good thoughts, prayers and sparkly happy vibes for myself. I have not been well the past couple of months with what I am calling major flapperdoodle failure in my esophagus/stomach. I`ve had a bunch of tests and a couple of procedures with another procedure scheduled for Tuesday but treatment is surgery. I just don`t know what kind yet - I`m hoping for the rinky-dink outpatient variety. Thom says I need Dr.House. ;)

Thanks, kids, you can`t talk to just everyone about your funky flapperdoodle. I`ll let you know what I find out Tuesday. I just hope they don`t come up with any more tests, I`m just about over the tests. ;)

Lara "tiffany rose"

Speaking as another shade of the olive/tan color girl, I don`t wear salmon or the pinks that have any coral or orange in them. Like Bets and Sandra, I`m best with a fuchsia or hot pink, which I love very very much, so that works great. I can also wear the icy pinks, but like Bets,it`s so far from my personality and smart mouth, I feel like I am being sneaky wearing it. HA! I am a little more to the brown skin tone than Bets and Sandra I think, so I can wear a deeper pastel pink if it`s a pure pink without any orange. I don`t think I could wear the Tiffany Rose color, it`s just a smidge to the coral pink on my monitor. It`s a beautiful color for a blonde or redhead and my granddaughter with her red hair would be very pretty in it.

That is beautiful! I love the sweater and the photo. I love the Lara yarn, it is so gorgeous knit up, the colors glow and are pure and intense and it looks like a million bucks in lace too. :)

I like Anna, kelly. Like Bets, I`ve been buying it off and on for years. I have some old Annas with some gorgeous and classic sweater patterns and expensive and hard to find lace patterns. For lace knitters, there is going to be a Herbert Niebling pattern in every issue. They also have other crafts in them - crochet,tatting, embroidery.

I`m back home and I don`t really have any answers except that I have more wrong than they thought and they don`t know why. Flapperdoodle failure and esophagus laziness are a bad combo apparently. More tests, with the one next Tuesday. No sign of cancer so that`s a good thing. He was able to help temporarily with the choking, and I`m really grateful for that. Beyond that? I don`t know and I`m not googling, it was too confusing and scary. It`s like reading the warning labels on meds - better off not knowing. I really hate that I know my gastro doc and the nurses in the hospital by their first names. I went in today and the nurses wanted to know if I`d finished that green stole I was working on last time. I only work on it there and I`m nearly done. ;)
