Benne Hi Benne,
I was thinking about you over the weekend as I was deep into the stash about you and your quattro. Did you ever start? If so, how`s it going? I think I am about to resurrect mine during football knitting!!
XOXO- Bri

Finally caught up the posts! Jayne,
I see you`ve gotten some rest! I appreciate the offer to seam the B&B mess, but it is really screwed up. I pulled out my knitting notes to see what I did where. I did most of it while we were on the road this spring at basketball practices and tourneys. My troubles now are likely the results of not paying attention then! I`m going to return to it in several weeks...stay tuned!

Today`s whats new Grace,
If you hadn`t pointed it out, I might not have noticed the peek!!! I wish I could justify getting enough for a kids` project but I am using my yarn budget for Katrina tomorrow. Or at least I am as of right now...;)

Bri-Mr. Bear is seriously cute! Thanks you guys! It turned out so much better than my last attempt at an earflap hat. I surprised myself, so that`s when I decided I needed to break out the bear and share it with everyone.

The pattern is slightly modified from the one in Last Minute Hand Knitted Gifts. It`s between the baby and toddler size. The hat is destine for one of the nicest professors here, who is due with a baby boy in September. She is half responsible for me being able to crunch numbers with accuracy and confidence. I`m going to knit a few more things for Baby Jang over the next couple of weeks. I understand that he`ll be heading to Seoul, Korea to meet family so he needed at least one warm hat! Of course, he could wear it inside many buildings here in the summer and be warm in the air conditioning.

I`ll be sure to take pictures at the shower end of the month!

all the new books Thanks for the input on the book. My BF told me that they`re trying for baby #2 this fall. I want to get it and have it when/ if the time comes. I`m happy that it`s quality. I knew this was the right crowd to ask! ;)

Cate-- so cute Cate,
That is good to know. Do you have a special girl in mind for the sweater?

Katrina & what you plan to make? Yesterday, I was able to resist buying yarn tomorrow after a thorough and honest appraisal of my stash. But that doesn`t mean that I`m uninterested in what everyone`s buying and making!!!

I read how popular the black was. Whether you got black or other colors, what are you making and when will it get on the needles?

Venturing into colourwork and need HELP Jayne,
I`m making this sweater too and planning to use HW for it because I changed the colors and didn`t want to be knitting such a small gauge for the next 10 years of my life. I also plan to knit it in the round as far as I can and to follow the Philospher`s Way method, my first time. I too noticed the needle sizes changing. I`m going to swatch and then decide whether to follow or rebel. I am set to cast on after I get through a slew of quick baby projects

I`ve posted a pic of my colors at my blog. URL is below. I think it`s going to be a fun sweater!

I have been able to withstand the immense Katrina pressure by living viacriously. What colors did you buy and what projects are you thinking about?

Venturing into colourwork and need HELP Dear Jayne,
I am thinking one needle size and a US7 at that. I would like to have another sweater to wear this fall when I travel out of FL (basically I want to have it done to show off to Daryl when we get to Philly in December-LOL, we knitters and women really do dress for each other) and when the weather gets cooler yet the university keeps the AC at 56 degrees.

Amy QOY...I love your fungly! Amy,
Somwhow I missed your log cabin but I really love it. (And that`s saying something because I was victimized by a mother who over country knick-knacked and over-quilted the house as a child.) I think you should frame it. One for each year, and have a wonderful project to commemorate all the yarns.
