my mother is the knitter and I am not. she is not a computer person but i am so please have patience with me as i may be wording this wrong but i think this is what she is asking. there is a scale (i guess) on the wrap on the ball of wool. it reads 10 s 10 cm 26r (rows?) x 20m what does the m stand for. there is a 4-4 1/2 on the inside of the square - what does this mean?
i would appreciate all the help that i can get.
thanks and have a great day

gauge:
10 stitches = 10 centimeters, 26 rows = 20 m (I think it's a typo, it should also be centimeter)
4-4 1/2 mm size of needle
