Merry Christmas!
I have looked at patterns with zippered openings for a long time and am finally trying one. I have sewn in zippers in fabric projects, but suspect it might be a little different in knitting.
Does anyone have any tips or warnings that I might need before my first attempt? Do I baste the opeing closed and use a sewing machine? Do I sew it in by hand?
The pattern just says sew in zipper. Not much help.
