Notice there is no Knit in that title? We bought a friend home for SonnyThePuddlemaster. I drove up Friday and got her. DH named her Pearl, and I had a 'mistake' at the dogtag maker. Oooops.
Sonny is gonna make a great big brother, if he can settle down.
Crud. Can anyone tell me how to load a photo? I am not doing it right.
I get the coming up....where do I paste the URL?? edited by bets on 8/2/2010 edited by bets on 8/2/2010

Oh! I have to go to your blog and see your newly knit Purl!
He'll be so much nicer/contented with a friend! You'll be happier too:-)
Cheers!

Is that her in your Ravitar? (Not the Elannitar! LOL) She looks pretty cute in that shot...although it's a tiny photo! edited by Dianepurls on 8/2/2010

Hi Bets,
can you try using the 'Attach Files' button in the lower right frame of a new post to upload your photo of Purl? If that doesn't work, just send me an email and I'll post it for you.
Best wishes, Angela

Ok. Sorry, Diane, I just now got a blog post in. The puddles are a lot fewer, and it's easier to catch her in the act. Sonny checks them out, and I KNOW he's thinking "Uh-oh, that wasn't me" and goes over and smells Purl to make sure he's not in trouble. What a goober. edited by bets on 8/3/2010

Hi Bets,
I just tested this out, and if you paste the URL of the picture you're linking to between the [ img ] [ /img ] coding, then the picture should show up, so long as the security settings at the host location allow it to be linked to from an unrelated site. I've just succeeded in posting a picture of my sons this way, so hopefully it will also work for a picture of Purl.
If that doesn't work for you, please let us know so we can troubleshoot, and also, as Angela asks below, email the picture to us us so that we can post it for you.

Bets, we'll have to add automatically limiting the width of submitted pictures (i.e. resizing on the fly) to our programming list. In the meantime, we resized your horizontal shot to 540 pixels wide (the same as your vertical shots). If you could do the same next time you post, that would be great. Speaking of great, it's tony-the-tiger-great to see you posting again - we've missed you!

All sizing courtesy of the i-phone, Ann. I'll keep the sizing in mind-easy enough to correct BEFORE I post.
The Puddlemaster and the PoopNinja have drastically altered my knitting habits. I spend more time chasing my knitting than actual knitting. The Puddlemaster will steal anything not nailed down. I noticed yesterday that my mantle, my FIREPLACE mantle, has scratches in it. I think he was getting up on a chair and launching at it to get to a toy I'd put up there.
Hope I can teach him the error of his thieving ways....before his sister picks it up.

I'm late to congratulate you on the adorable addition to the happy family! Pretty soon those two should keep each other busy enough to give you back some of your knitting time...
