Here is a good picture of those coats I was mentioning earlier. That garter st coat is so nice. Alas, not for my body unless I were to grow another 6 inches!

umm my daughter is almost 6 foot tall and I doubt she could carry that off. :-) It is very bulky. Two hours later it would be down to your ankles.

LOL - those are the outfits for the indoor ceremonies too! Must be fairly warm!
If you click on this page http://www.aritzia.com/style/lookbook/2010-olympic-costumes and click on the woman in the tam (fist thumbnail) it shows a video of the designer and the making the garments. The coloured bits in the knit coat are pieces of roving woven thru the knitted stitches.
