Knitting takes so many forms and surely has something for everyone. Prime example is today`s offerings: Paton`s Sock Monkey Patterns and Haapsalu Shawl: A Knitted Lace Tradition from Estonia. I love them both and everything in between too. This made me smile this morning. :)

That is quite the contrast, isn`t it? I want the sock monkey book. I have the Haapsalu book (in Estonian, not the translated version), and it`s so beautiful!

Yippee! the Haapsalu shawl book it here. I discovered this while searching one night and was about to order it from Estonia. Now if I could just get my hands on the out of print Estonian lace book....
