is EXACTLY what I`m looking for....however, I`m also planning a bag of Tuesday`s offering in Black...what to do..what to do...2 orders one day after the next...or wait and cross my fingers that Monday`s offering doesn`t fly out the window.... i guess there`s always going to be more yarn.

Is Monday`s anything like bag wool?

Its hand is very, very similar, Bets, though it`s not as thick - the bag wool was 55m/50g, with a gauge of 15-16 sts/4". Also, because it`s superwash, it`s not feltable like the bag wool was.

Yes, in terms of feel, I`d say it`s probably softer.

Oh, lordy, similar to the bag wool...and the colors...and it`s superwash...is there any hope I can hold out against this? Probably not.

Were you looking at the Ember and Butter for Gryffindor. I love those colors together.

I love single ply, it`s my favourite - but I`m wondering what the pill factor will be with this as it`s so soft. That might just push me over the edge into today`s offering instead...
