It was a must-have in birch bark and oatmeal. Anyone else unable to resist? I swooned as I knit my sample skein of this one.

So many good neutral and earth-tone colors, too! One is bound to find something that appeals and will be a wardrobe staple.

For those of you who have partaken of the Peru Soft, is it soft enough for a neckwarmer?

Kelly,
It is very very soft. I`m planning on using it for a jacket/coat as it is a bulky wt yarn however it is quite soft.

I have an obscene amount of Peru soft. I`m knitting the every way wrap with it, and it`s definitely soft enough for something against the neck.

Thanks, Libby and Bri! I wanted to make that Burberry inspired cowl and have nothing suitable in the stash that`s not itchy.

I totally love that pattern and was thinking about making one too in the Peru Soft. Great minds think alike!

I did the sample in Peru Soft. It`s very, very, very soft and not itchy at all. However, even though I don`t have any allergies, it would kind of "tickle" my nose when working with it - a little like the way angora does. Maybe because it`s a bit sheddy because it`s very loosely spun and single ply?

Thanks, Eileen! I`m glad to have confirmation on its softness. I`d like to add that I LOVE your sample. It`s beautiful!
