Oh, this is the reward for being up so late... I get to be the first one to post on Christmas morning! I`ve finished placing all the clues for the big "treasure hunt" tomorrow, and I am free to go to bed... so why am I doing this instead?????????????????? (Because I miss all of you!)

Never mind. I see the Texas time zone difference is making my post still count as the 24th. Drat!

Oop...can`t do math. Still ten minutes away. Nope, not going to hang around for ten more minutes. Someone else will have to be the official first on the 25th person.

Merry Christmas everyone. I am the only one up. It is very quiet and peaceful. But I hear stirrings upstairs so I expect I will soon have company :-)

Happy Holidays to everyone. It`s now 11 am on Christmas morning here and the turkey is starting to make the house smell yummy. Soon all the kids will arrive so I think I`ll have a wee nap while I can.
May each and every one of you have a happy, healthy, and good knitting new Year.
Much Love.....Evelyn

Merry Christmas from New Mexico where we are visiting family. Total chaos here, hard to tell who is more excited, Miss M or her Grandma.

Ho,ho,ho, kiddos! Thom and I just watched Shrek 3 and I`m lollygagging on the couch with my laptop and another purse on the needles. I can`t seem to stop knitting purses. Somebody stop me! ;-) It`s a nice quiet day for us. Except for those Christmases we ran off to the Bahamas, it`s the first time we`ve been home and haven`t had to go somewhere or have a houseful of people. Pretty nice.
Isn`t it funny how we have all logged on to talk to one another on Christmas. We ARE a family! :-}

Merry Christmas! Mine was over yesterday, since I opened gifts with my brother`s family last night. The Christmas stockings I made went over really well! They had to take down their old ones and hang the new ones right away, so that seemed a sure sign that they liked them. I smiled too much and my face got sore... guess that`s all good. I even raced a cow and bowled on the Wii game with my nephew. I`ll never win that cow racing game... I have too much fun running over trees, screeching around corners, and trying to jump the fence!

Hope you all have had a lovely, peaceful day. I`ve exchanged gifts with my neighbor, had phone calls from family and friends. Soon I will be going to my friends who have me for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year. No other knitters - very strange. But always a very nice evening.

well I will be one of the last in the EST time zone to say Merry Christmas this day, Just brewed some sleepytime tea and off to bed. Tommo is still home tomorrow. Santa was overly generous, and the daughters came through big time, had a good meal at my sisters, and came home early and knitted the night away with vintage episodes of my soaps on the tube. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!

Michelle, Good to hear from you! Merry Christmas! It was a cold, snowy day here; it`s not often that it snows on Christmas day. I did my good deed by driving about 60 miles, picking up friends for a dinner elsewhere and then driving them home! The snow wasn`t too bad! It was a pleasantday. I started the wool peddlar`s shawl (Cheryl Oberlem Folk Shawls) tonight in a lovely red (HW color 2020, I think). Christmas starts today for me and lasts until January 6! So, yes, Merry Christmas to all! Jamie

It`s been busy. And I haven`t had much of a chance to get my two cents worth in on all the beautiful projects, and all the interesting topics. But this is important; I just want to say...
Merry Christmas to everyone here, and all the very, very best over the holiday season!
