I am trying to do matching sleeves and knitting them two at a time, the dull way. I`m using a self-striping yarn-Noro Aurora, and there is no shortage of knots-so a ball might START like another, and end up totally different. My sleeves aren`t going to match.

That`s one thing that drives me nuts about Noro. They splice without regard to the color run. Sleeves on my Elsewhere were less than optimal ;P I feel your pain, Bets.

I can`t knit `hard` tho-the painkillers don`t do well with charts.

Bets, Are you doing the magic loop (the method on the extra long cable needle) and both sleeves on the same needle, two at a time method? If so, that does not sound dull...I`ve been debating over what method to use if I ever knit socks and that sounds like just about the most mind-boggling one to try though with definite advantages! That would aggravate me too if I took the time to match the sequence in two balls of self-striping yarn and knots disturbed the expected coloration! Sandra
