Hey All, I`m sure you all have heard about what`s going on here in Central Texas. Scared to death for the families on Ft. Hood. My neighbor works at the hospital so I have her kids here with me.
Please pray for those families that have been affected by this tragedy.
Peace, Jean

I was just reading about this on AOL, and it seems like it is over, at least. I am so sorry to hear of this. The destruction one person can cause is so tremendous. We will certainly keep the families and military personnel of Ft.Hood in our prayers.

Jean, I thought of you and Dan right away. It is just too shocking to take in. I am just heartsick for the soldiers, civilian police and the families. Prayers and thoughts for all.

Hey all, So sad. I was really concerned about the officer that was shot because they kept saying she was a civilian. CID Agents civilian clothes (we`ve had neighbors for years that didn`t know Dan was in the Army) so I thought they might be mistaken in all the confusion and it was one of Dan`s coworkers. Thankfully it wasn`t. She is a civilian police officer assigned to Ft. Hood because so many MPs are deployed and this hero is alive and in stable condition. Thank God.
Dan is in Missouri and I`ve never been so happy that he was TDY. It would have been an even more horrible afternoon waiting to hear he was okay. All those people you see on the footage in khakis and raid jackets are Dan`s coworkers. It`s killing him to not be here for the case, but he won`t be home for a couple more weeks.
Peace, Jean

I know that`s got to be making him crazy. I`ll bet 2 boys will tackle dad as soon as he walks in the door. Jean I know you are doing hood things for those around you.

Jean, My message dittos what Benne said. I was very worried about you while hearing all the reports. My prayers go for all those killed and injured in this incident. Glad to know you are okay but that Dan is not there with you, and with his co-workers. Blessings on all in Ft. Hood. Jamie

Thanks for letting us know that Dan, at least, is safe. Such a sad time for your new neighborhood. Keep safe and our thoughts are with all of you.
