If you like the look of Kureyon, but need it thinner, cheaper, and without dragging in half the barn, look at the Picasso. The color changes are REALLY long, and the dramatic ones you see on the sample jacket are changes I forced by cutting the yarn. Even people that don`t use multi-colored yarns might like this for accessories (cabled hats!) and color work. The yarn behaves like a felted single.

Bets, all I can see of the sample jacket is a little picture the size of a postage stamp. When I click on it it goes to the vogue cover. Where can I see a better picture of this sweater you have knitted. I love long color changes that are thinner, cheaper and less full of hay!

Hi Amy,
Just beneath the Vogue cover, there`s a button that says "View Contents". Click it, and when you see the jacket thumbnail again in the pop-up box, click it to see the large photo and pattern details.

Thanks for the heads-up, Bets! I really have to knit enough to make space for more yarn. November is going to be a struggle...
Oh, and beautiful work on that jacket!!!

It looks GORGEOUS and perfect for the scarf project. I`m assuming it is against the neck soft? That jacket looks like it was designed just for you to knit. Variegated, mitered all they needed was to sprinkle in a little bit of glitz! So glad you got to do it made me happy just to look.

I had to arm wrestle to get it. I just barely beat someone to this pattern!

It is beautiful, Bets! Which colorway is it...I`m guessing between the Rondo Matador and the Mulled Wine? Is it soft enough for a baby and does it fuzz much...the Marble was soft but oh, does it fuzz up.

It was the Matador, Sandra. I didn`t think it was all that fuzzy, and I was working on it in the dead of summer. I think it`s soft enough for layette for any baby (provided they are wearing a Tshirt, because that`s how I am.)

I don`t feel a bit sorry for you, Shui Kuen - you did a fabulous job on that cabled jacket! It looks just delicious!
I love your coat, Bets, have you decided to keep it? I bet if it was blue there would be no question!
Eileen.

Did you get the fluffy red one? That IS gorgeous, SK. I think it`s beautiful.
I want to try mine on before I decide. It left here when it was 100 out.
